About MarCast

Modelling how oil, chemicals and people drift at sea

MarCast builds software that models how oil, chemicals and people drift at sea, helping organisations prepare for and respond to maritime incidents. Our platforms (OilCast, SARCast and HNSCast) are used by navies, government agencies, response organisations and consultancies around the world. We are a small, dynamic and fast-growing team that delivers everything from one-off projects to annual software licences.

The role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will:

  • Find and win new clients worldwide, with a focus on annual software licences
  • Take over and develop live opportunities in our existing pipeline
  • Represent MarCast at international industry events and in client meetings
  • Manage the sales pipeline in our CRM and help shape pricing, positioning and new markets

About you

  • A self-starter who is self-motivated and works well as part of a small team
  • Confident building relationships with customers around the world
  • Native or near-native English
  • Above all, a natural connector with a passion for using technology to improve environmental outcomes
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry is a plus, but not essential
